Mortgage Calculator
This calculator can be used to see regular monthly payments on either a capital repayment or interest only basis.
The calculator also assumes the mortgage rate used will apply for the term stated and cannot account for future changes to interest rates or your product.
The mortgage overpayment feature is for illustrative purposes and does not take into account any overpayment restrictions or Early Repayment Charges. The overpayment feature only works for capital repayment mortgages.
Regular mortgage overpayments
We calculate the regular monthly mortgage overpayment from the period you enter. This isn't affected by any lump sums paid. The calculation assumes that you keep making regular overpayments. The overpayment amount may differ in the final month when the remaining balance is cleared.
The results are not guaranteed and could be considerably different if interest rates change. Remember that variable rates can rise and fall and fixed rates are usually for a specific period.
Early Repayment Charges (ERCs) - No ERCs or mortgage exit admin fees are included in these calculations.

Easter 2025 Competition - Enter for a chance to win one of two quick sketch pet portraits by Norfolk artist, Ruddy Muddy!
Please note that 1 prize will be for the best children's entry (ages 1-17) and 1 prize for the best adult entry (aged 18+). One entry allowed per person and please state which category you are entering (adults, please do not enter the children's competition!). There is no cost to enter and no obligation to fill out your mortgage details.
Just fill out the form below and you will receive an email with the pdf of the cat to print which you then need to finish drawing. Whether you decide to go for realistic, cartoon style, humorous, colourful or anything else, the choice is yours - let your creative juices flow!
Once done, please take a scan or a photo and email your completed drawing to info@veterinaryfinances.co.uk no later than the competition closing date of 11:59pm on Monday 21st April 2025. Entries received after this will not be accepted.
One winner of a quick sketch pet portrait will be selected by Ruddy Muddy for each of the adult and child competitions on Tuesday 22nd April 2025 and his decisions are final. No cash alternative.
